Terms of Service.
Last updated · May 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the RedRhynos websites at redrhynos.com and any subdomains (the "Site"), and establish the baseline for any engagement we enter into. Specific engagements are governed by a separately signed Statement of Work or Master Services Agreement that supersedes these Terms where they conflict.
1. Acceptance
By using the Site or by entering into a paid engagement with us, you accept these Terms. If you don't accept them, please don't use the Site or work with us.
2. Use of the Site
The Site is provided for informational purposes - to describe our services, share case studies and writing, and let you contact us or apply for roles. You agree not to:
- Use the Site for unlawful purposes or in a way that interferes with its operation.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically copy content beyond what's needed to read it.
- Submit false information through any form on the Site.
- Attempt to access systems or data that aren't intentionally exposed by the Site.
3. Content & intellectual property
The text, code samples, design, graphics, and aggregated data on the Site are owned by RedRhynos or licensed to us. You may quote excerpts with attribution for non-commercial purposes (analyst reports, journalism, academic work). For broader use, ask: info@redrhynos.com.
Case studies are published with the named client's consent. Where a client appears as a logo or quote, that consent is on file.
4. Engagements
Paid engagements run under a written Statement of Work that specifies scope, fees, timeline, and milestone deliverables. The model we offer is described on our services pages. Key principles:
- Fixed-fee per phase after a paid discovery sprint. You see the budget before committing to build.
- You own the code and IP. Repos, accounts, and credentials live in your name from day one. We collaborate inside your environment.
- Senior staffing. Every engagement is led by an engineer who has shipped a comparable system before.
- Written outcome reports close every engagement, with measurable results agreed up front.
5. Submissions & briefs
When you submit a project brief or contact form, you represent that the information is yours to share. We treat brief contents as confidential - we don't share them outside the people staffed on or evaluating the work.
If you send us unsolicited ideas, code, or designs, we don't have an obligation of confidentiality unless we've signed an NDA. Please don't send us anything you wouldn't be comfortable seeing handled as ordinary business correspondence.
6. Career applications
Submitting a role application means you consent to RedRhynos storing and reviewing the materials you provide for hiring purposes. You can withdraw the application or request deletion at any time - see our Privacy Policy.
7. Disclaimers
The Site is provided "as is." We work hard to keep it accurate, but we don't warrant that it's error-free or continuously available. Statistics, benchmarks, and case study figures are believed accurate at time of writing and verified with named clients where claimed.
Nothing on the Site constitutes legal, tax, security, or compliance advice. For an engagement, our written deliverables apply - not blog posts, social media, or general content.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RedRhynos is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site. For paid engagements, liability is governed by the SOW and applicable MSA, which take precedence.
9. Third-party services
The Site links to third-party platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, our calendar booking tool, source articles in our blog). Those services have their own terms; we're not responsible for them.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be flagged on the Site for at least 30 days. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes that can't be resolved informally will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mangaluru, Karnataka. For engagements with non-Indian clients, the SOW or MSA may specify a different governing law and forum, which controls.
12. Contact
